Who we are

Omoge Commerce Tools ("we", "us") provides AI Customer Support software to e-commerce businesses. We operate omogecommercetools.com. For any privacy question, email support@omogecommercetools.com or use the contact page.

Information we process

  • Account information: your name, business name and email address.
  • Knowledge base content you add, such as delivery, returns and product information.
  • Customer support messages you choose to bring into the product, which may contain your customers' names, order references and enquiry details.
  • Usage information such as pages viewed and features used, to improve the product.

Current status of this release

Your account and workspace data — profile and business settings, knowledge base entries, conversations, messages, AI settings and widget settings — are stored in our managed cloud database and are restricted to your own account by database access rules. AI draft replies are generated server-side. No marketplace accounts are connected, so we do not send or receive your customers' data to or from Amazon, Shopify or eBay.

If you install the website chat widget on your own site, messages your website visitors submit — the message text, plus a name and email address only where the visitor chooses to give them — are sent to us and stored in your workspace so that you can read and reply to them. A random session identifier is stored in the visitor's browser so they can continue the same conversation. Those messages are processed server-side by our AI provider to produce a suggested reply grounded in your knowledge base. For this data you are the controller and we act as your processor.

Payments

Paid checkout is not active yet, so at present no card details are collected and no payment data is processed. When paid billing is activated, subscriptions will be handled by Stripe: card details will be entered on Stripe's own secure checkout and will never be sent to or stored by us. From Stripe we will store only what we need to run your subscription — your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, the plan and price you are on, the subscription status, and the renewal or cancellation date. Stripe processes payment data as its own controller under its privacy policy.

Why we process it

To provide and secure the service, to generate draft replies from content you supply, to provide support, and to meet legal obligations. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance those against your rights.

AI processing

When you request a draft, our server sends only the content needed to write that reply — the selected conversation's messages, the relevant knowledge base extracts and your assistant settings such as tone and reply language — to the AI service configured for the product through our hosting platform's AI gateway. Your credentials and other customers' data are never included. We do not use your content to train models, and we will name the underlying model providers here once that arrangement is confirmed in writing. Every draft is a suggestion that requires your review before it is used.

Retention

We keep account and workspace data while your account is active. You can delete knowledge base entries and the labelled sample data from within the app at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data by emailing support@omogecommercetools.com.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Cookies

We use only storage that is necessary to keep you signed in on this device. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not hold any compliance certifications that we have not listed here.
